Job Overview: We are seeking a Tax Manager to take primary responsibility for U.S. tax compliance for select private equity and debt funds. Responsibilities:
Manage K1 reporting for private funds.
Oversee the timely filing of U.S. federal, state, and local tax returns.
Coordinate quarterly estimated tax payments.
Respond to tax correspondence and manage inquiries from U.S. tax authorities.
Handle investor tax inquiries for private funds.
Identify and support tax efficiency opportunities at the federal and state level.
Provide tax oversight for U.S. portfolio companies.
Review tax provisions for operating subsidiaries.
Qualifications
Requirements:
4–7 years of experience in tax compliance and strategy for private equity or infrastructure funds.
Basic understanding of cross-border tax issues and treaty analysis.
Ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly and concisely.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
