This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to clients, mentoring staff, and helping drive the growth of a dynamic public accounting practice.

Position Overview

The Tax Manager will play a key role within the firm's leadership team, providing tax planning, consulting, compliance review, and research services to a diverse client base. This individual will also be responsible for developing team members, fostering client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and review corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns.

  • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients across multiple industries.

  • Conduct technical tax research and deliver practical solutions to client challenges.

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop tax professionals.

  • Manage multiple client engagements while maintaining exceptional service standards.

  • Build and strengthen client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.

  • Participate in recruiting, training, and talent development initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

  • Active CPA license in good standing.

  • 5+ years of recent public accounting experience with a strong focus on taxation.

  • 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Proficiency in corporate, partnership, and individual taxation.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Industry experience in real estate, construction, or manufacturing is a plus.
