Overview

A well-respected local public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager in Macon. The team is growing and values career development, collaboration and a strong client focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of tax engagements, including planning, scheduling and staffing
• Review complex federal, state and local returns prepared by others
• Research technical tax issues and advise clients
• Supervise, mentor and develop associates and seniors
• Build and maintain client relationships and identify value-added services

Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license
• Strong communication and organizational skills
