Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Manager (CPA Certified) to focus on providing exceptional tax services to high-net-worth individuals and working with estates and trusts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to develop tailored strategies to meet the unique financial needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities:
Client Management: Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, understanding their financial situations and tax planning needs.
Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and review of complex individual tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Tax Planning: Create and implement strategic tax plans that align with clients' financial goals, including estate and gift tax planning, income tax minimization, and investment tax strategies.
Research & Analysis: Stay current with tax laws and regulations, conducting research to identify implications and opportunities for clients.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior staff in tax preparation and planning processes, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Client Education: Communicate tax strategies and changes effectively to clients, ensuring they understand the implications and benefits of proposed actions.
Business Development: Participate in business development activities, including networking and client presentations, to expand the firm's presence in the high-net-worth market.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
