The A.C. Coy Company is currently seeking candidates for a Tax Manager role to support Construction businesses. Ideal candidates will have 4+ years of public accounting with several years supporting construction or real estate clients. An active CPA is required.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with clients and team members to provide tax planning, consultation, and compliance services
- Partner with upper management on client management, professional development, and business development activities
- Keep abreast of legislative or professional changes that may impact clients
- Supervise and mentor associate team members
- Actively develop new clients and market the company's services
- Participate in networking events and other events within the local community to foster client development
Qualifications:
Education Required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Active CPA or JD
Experience Required:
- 4+ years of public accounting experience with a minimum of 2+ years working with construction or real estate clients
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Knowledge and proficiency with various accounting software
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with both internal and external teams
