We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Manager to join our growing Accounting + Finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your skills in tax planning, federal and state tax, high net worth, tax returns, S Corp, and tax review. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating tax planning and research processes. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about tax laws, enjoys solving financial challenges, and is looking to take the next step in their career in a supportive and vibrant work environment.

Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager, you will:

1. Manage and coordinate tax planning, preparation, and review of federal and state income taxes for high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

2. Provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.

3. Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billing, collections, and budget for assigned projects.

4. Perform technical tax review and approval of all tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity.

5. Serve as a key leader in our firm's Tax team, providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the team.

6. Develop and deliver innovative tax planning strategies that save our clients’ money and help grow their businesses.

7. Stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws to ensure company's compliance.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax planning and compliance, with a focus on federal and state tax for high net worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships.

3. Proven experience in managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, with a strong ability to meet and exceed client expectations.

4. Strong knowledge of S Corp structures, tax returns, and tax review processes.

5. Excellent leadership skills with an ability to motivate and lead a team.

6. Exceptional client service skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.

7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to clearly explain complex tax issues to non-tax professionals.

8. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
