    ABOUT THE ROLE

    A leading public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Manager to support a diverse client base across industries including real estate, manufacturing, technology, and commercial businesses. This role combines tax compliance, research, planning, client relationship management, and staff development.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong public accounting background with experience serving closely held businesses, pass-through entities, and high-net-worth individuals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Review complex individual, partnership, corporate, and pass-through entity tax returns.
    • Provide tax compliance, planning, and consulting services to a diverse client base.
    • Research and resolve complex federal, state, and local tax matters.
    • Communicate with tax authorities regarding notices, examinations, and client matters.
    • Assist with tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities for clients.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
    • Mentor, train, and develop tax staff and seniors.
    • Support engagement management, project planning, and workflow coordination.
    • Participate in business development and practice growth initiatives.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of public accounting tax experience.
    • CPA required or actively pursuing certification with exam sections passed.
    • Experience with individual (1040), partnership, and corporate taxation.
    • Exposure to high-net-worth individuals and pass-through entities preferred.
    • Strong tax compliance, research, and planning background.
    • Excellent communication, client service, and relationship management skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • MST and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
    • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with approximately three days per week in the office.
