    Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

    Job Description

    • Lead preparation and review of corporate, trust, and individual tax returns
    • Manage tax department workflow, deadlines, and staff assignments across in-office and remote team members
    • Oversee quarterly filings, year-end planning, and compliance cycles for diverse client entities
    • Mentor, train, and supervise tax staff while fostering a culture of quality and accountability
    • Drive technology upgrades and process improvements within the tax department
    • Partner with firm leadership on strategic growth initiatives and service offerings
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
    • Maintain high standards of responsiveness and client service for business and high-net-worth clients

    Qualifications

    • Active CPA license
    • 5+ years of public accounting experience with strong corporate and trust/individual tax exposure
    • Proven experience reviewing complex returns and managing engagements
    • Comfortable leading a tax team and improving processes and systems
    • Proficiency with common tax and accounting platforms (e.g., UltraTax, QuickBooks or similar)
    • Based in or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis metro area
