Arkansas Talent Group is partnering one of Arkansas most Prominent and Respectable CPA Firms to find a Tax Manager for their office in Fayetteville. The role is due to growth and expansion and will report directly to the Tax Partner and has a compelling career path to Partner.
Duties would include:
- Lead and manage client engagements related to tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for businesses
- Provide proactive tax advice and guidance to clients, identifying opportunities for tax savings and minimizing tax liabilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and S-corporation returns
- Research and analyze tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on all tax-related matters
- Mentor and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development
- Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated solutions and exceptional service to clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Accounting
- CPA
- Minimum of 7+ years of Tax experience in public accounting
- Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Experience working with various size businesses across various industries preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to mentor and develop staff members
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and prioritize tasks effectively
