Location: Naples, FL (or Fort Myers / Lakeland / Orlando, FL)

Overview

A national professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager or Director focused on high-net-worth individuals for its Southwest Florida tax practice. Naples is the primary listed office (Fort Myers, Lakeland and Orlando also considered; Tampa is listed by the employer but is not the marketed location for this posting).

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business processes such as succession and tax planning
• Lead, schedule, supervise and review tax engagements
• Develop and train team members
• Perform a range of tax procedures based on the size and complexity of each engagement
• Attend industry events and trainings and build industry expertise
• Serve high-net-worth individuals and related entities with planning and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Several years of experience in a professional services or public accounting firm
• CPA required (EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to help clients and team members succeed
• High-net-worth or private client experience preferred
