Essential Job Duties
Manage and review complex tax engagements, including individual (1040), corporate, partnership, estate, trust, and multi-state tax returns.
Serve as the primary advisor on tax compliance, planning, and research, providing guidance on complex federal and state tax issues.
Independently manage a client portfolio/book of business while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff, including seniors, supervisors, associates, and interns.
Review tax workpapers and returns for accuracy, technical compliance, and quality before issuance to clients.
Support practice growth and leadership initiatives, contributing to a potential partner-track career path within the firm.
Core Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field; Master's in Taxation preferred.
CPA preferred; Enrolled Agent (EA) or candidates actively pursuing CPA certification will also be considered.
