An established, highly respected regional CPA firm in the Greater Cincinnati area is seeking a Tax Manager to step into a highly visible advisory role. Location: Greater Cincinnati Area (Hybrid)
Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 + Profit-Sharing & Capital Growth Plan
Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time

Advisory Focus: Move away from data entry. You will serve as a trusted consultant to closely held businesses, helping them navigate strategic growth, entity structuring, and proactive planning.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of privately held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
Review complex federal, corporate (S-Corp, C-Corp), and multi-state tax returns.
Provide year-round strategic tax planning and consultative business advisory services.
Mentor and develop a talented team of seniors and staff accountants, fostering a collaborative, low-turnover environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive tax experience within a public accounting environment.
Active CPA certification is strongly preferred (or concrete plans to finalize licensing).
Strong technical background reviewing pass-through entities, partnerships, and corporate structures.
A passion for client relationships and team mentorship.
