About Our ClientOur client is an established accounting firm in sunny Cape Coral, Florida offering great pay, benefits and a clear path for advancement. You are a highly motivated, disciplined and skilled Tax Manager looking for an opportunity to stand out at a small firm and have a work life balance. In this role you will be reviewing tax returns, working with the clients, and helping with mid-level staff. This is an on-site position in Cape Coral.
Qualifications:CPA or EA License Certification (Florida) preferred not required7+ years of tax preparationBachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related fieldAbility to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics and business conductAble to thrive in a deadline-oriented environmentExperience working for a CPA firm requiredApplicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Primary Responsibilities:Preparing financial statements and corporate tax returns (may also prepare some personal returns if necessary)Filing payroll tax returns and sales tax returnsAssisting clients in resolving tax matters with the IRSWorks as required during tax season to meet federal and state deadlines
