Tax Manager
Manage tax compliance and reporting for mutual funds, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations. Oversee the preparation and review of tax provisions and returns for mutual funds. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax-related inquiries and issues. Analyze tax implications for mutual fund transactions and provide strategic recommendations. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations impacting mutual funds. Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies for mutual fund operations. Provide leadership and guidance to tax team members, fostering professional growth. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax documentation.
A successful Tax Manager should have: Extensive experience with mutual fund tax compliance and reporting. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations affecting mutual funds. Proficiency in analyzing tax implications for financial transactions. Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and mentor a team. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. CPA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.
