    Job Title: Tax Manager
    Location: Alpharetta, GA OR Gainesville, GA
    Salary: $130K-$205K/yr DOE

    About the Role:
    We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our growing team.This individual will serve as a hands-on leader and technical resource, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients across individual, partnership, and corporate tax engagements. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded generalist with strong expertise in State & Local Tax (SALT), and the ability to independently review and sign tax returns.

    Key Responsibilities

      • Review and sign a variety of tax returns, including:
        • Individual returns (1040s)
        • Partnerships (1065s)
        • S Corporations (1120S)

      • Provide technical oversight and guidance on complex tax matters, particularly related to SALT
      • Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax planning and compliance
      • Lead and mentor staff and senior associates, reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
      • Identify tax planning opportunities and proactively advise clients on strategies to minimize tax liability
      • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
      • Stay current on changing tax laws and communicate impacts to clients and internal teams
      • Collaborate with partners on high-level tax strategy and firm initiatives

    Qualifications

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
    • B.S. in Accounting or Taxation (Masters degree is a plus)
    • Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
    • Strong experience with State & Local Tax (SALT)
    • Experience with Partnerships (1065), S-Corps (1120S), and Individual returns (1040)
    • Proven ability to review and sign tax returns
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Prior experience mentoring or managing junior staff
    • Experience managing client relationships and leading engagements
