The Role
Take ownership of a diverse client portfolio: roughly 150 individual returns, 100 S-corp and partnership returns, and 30 fiduciary returns annually. That's enough to stay genuinely engaged without drowning. As our practice grows, you'll have clear paths to expanded responsibility and advancement in a firm that actually values your expertise.
Job Duties
- Prepare and review approximately 150 individual income tax returns (1040s) annually, including high-net-worth and complex tax situations
- Manage approximately 100 S-corporation and partnership tax returns (1120-S and 1065)
- Handle approximately 30 fiduciary income tax returns (1041)
- Research and resolve federal and California state tax issues
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships through responsive, personalized service
What You Need
- 7+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- CPA license (required)
- Strong knowledge of individual, S-corp, partnership, and fiduciary taxation
- Experience preparing complex federal and California income tax returns
- Must be located in the Los Angeles area
