    District Partners is engaged on this exclusive search for a talented Senior Tax Manager to join the leadership team of a respected and growing public accounting firm. This is a high-impact role for an experienced tax professional who thrives in a client-facing environment and has a strong background in complex tax matters, including partnerships, business transactions, and foreign tax compliance. The position offers significant leadership responsibilities and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions while mentoring a high-performing team.


    What You'll Be Owning:

    • Manage and review complex tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
    • Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals
    • Lead transactional work, including business sales, acquisitions, reorganizations, and associated due diligence and structuring
    • Act as a trusted advisor, maintaining and expanding long-term client relationships
    • Conduct in-depth research and provide guidance on complex federal, state, and local tax matters
    • Mentor, supervise, and review the work of junior and mid-level tax professionals
    • Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment with firm-wide initiatives
    • Support business development efforts, including proposal writing and client presentations


    Required Experience:

    • CPA, JD, or LLM required
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation strongly preferred
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting
    • Familiarity with tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
    • Deep expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory for both individuals and business entities
    • Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced, client-service-focused environment
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and mentor staff
