A Tax Director required to oversee direct client handling, oversee Staff supervising leveraging complex research and analyzation of sophisticated tax strategies.

** Ideal role for seasoned Tax expert tied of NYC commute ! – work in Long Island **

Key Objectives:

·         Prep tax returns – individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership and Multistate.

·         A to Z of accounting tax, planning, preparation, review, research.

·         Reporting standards.

·         Tax risk management - solutions collaboration with Partners.

·         Tax procedures, financial statements solo.

·         Tax returns, audits.

·         Oversee team day-to-day duties of planning, tax work.

·         Supervise, train and mentor tax staff

Requirements

Requirements: Essential

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting

·         CPA

·         7+ years at CPA firm

·         5 years of supervisory leadership.

·         Strong verbal and written communication

·         Prioritize assign tasks based on skill set of team.

Skills ideal nice to have

·         using UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Intuit products or similar.

·         Strong Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office, and Intuit QuickBooks.
