BG Staffing is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Tax Credit Leasing Consultant to support an affordable housing community in Denton, TX 76208. This role is ideal for a leasing professional with Tax Credit experience who enjoys helping residents, maintaining compliance, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents throughout the leasing process
- Process applications, lease agreements, renewals, and resident documentation
- Verify income and eligibility requirements in accordance with Tax Credit and Affordable Housing guidelines
- Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with program regulations
- Provide outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and assist with resident inquiries
- Support occupancy goals through resident retention and follow-up efforts
- Assist with marketing initiatives and community outreach
- Maintain professionalism while supporting daily office operations
Requirements
- Previous apartment leasing experience preferred
- Tax Credit and Affordable Housing experience required
- Knowledge of income certifications, recertifications, and compliance procedures
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with property management software is a plus
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
