Summary Statement
The incumbent in this position is responsible for ensuring the proper audit, computation and collections of business taxes, which includes gross receipt tax, withholding tax, and other transaction-based taxes collected by the Delaware Division of Revenue.  The incumbent will develop audit procedures using Division of Revenue''s (DOR) tax administration system. The incumbent will advise, direct and support auditors in the performance of audits, which include reviewing accounting records such as invoices, sales journals, general ledgers, bank statements, and inventory entries to determine compliance with tax laws, rules and regulations, assessing liabilities and explaining assessments or return adjustments to taxpayers.

All new hires are required to report to the Statewide New Employee Orientation (SNEO) on their first day of employment. Sessions are held at designated locations in Kent or New Castle County.
