TAX ACCOUNTANTS
Location: Bergen County, NJ and Westchester County, NY
Full-time/Per-Diem/Seasonal
Our client is a prestigious, multi-location wealth management and financial services firm seeking full-time Tax Accountants. Due to a recent acquisition, they are expanding and need experienced Tax Accountants who can manage all aspects of accounting work, from write-up to tax return preparation.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of recent PUBLIC ACCOUNTING experience
- Able to handle full-scope accounting work, from write-up through tax preparation
- Knowledgeable in Accounting CS, UltraTax CS, and Fixed Assets CS
- Strong knowledge of payroll and sales tax laws
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
- CPA or EA is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Maintain corporate financial records and perform full-scope tax accounting for individuals and businesses
- Prepare individual, trust, estate, corporate, and partnership tax returns
- Record journal entries, depreciation, and adjustments based on tax returns
- Prepare tax-based financial statements and research/respond to tax-related inquiries
