TAX ACCOUNTANT/TAX PREPARER

Well-established public accounting firm has been serving clients for more than 20 years needing to add a Tax Accountant/Tax Preparer to the team.  The firm offers a collaborative, family-oriented environment where employees have direct access to leadership and meaningful client interaction. With a small team of approximately six employees, staff are given significant responsibility, autonomy, and opportunities for long-term growth.

The opening is tied to an upcoming partner retirement, creating a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a stable and respected firm.

Ideal Candidate -

• 3-5+ years of public accounting experience
•  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
•  Strong tax preparation experience

Experience with:

• Individual (1040) tax returns
• Partnership (1065) tax returns
• Corporate (1120/1120S) tax returns
• Financial statement preparation
• Year-end adjusting journal entries
• Bookkeeping and reconciliations
• CPA preferred but not required
•  UltraTax experience is a plus
• CAS experience is a plus
• Client Base
