Tax Accountant \- Senior

• Oversee and manage various projects to ensure client requirements are met.
  
• Collaborate with team members at all levels during client projects.
  
• Supervise and review the work of junior accountants across multiple projects, providing feedback and guidance on their performance.
  
• Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
  
• Handle the review of complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals across multiple states.
  
• Take on the responsibility of preparing complex tax returns when necessary, including forms 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1065.
  
• Have a comprehensive understanding of estate and trust taxation.
  
• Offer financial planning services to high-net-worth clients, focusing on estate planning, gift strategies, and IRA planning.
  
• Lead the response to tax notices and audits from tax authorities.
  
• Conduct tax research and offer training on various tax-related subjects.
  
• Manage year-end tax assessments, quarterly tax estimates, and develop tax planning strategies.
  
• Directly manage project workflows, client relationships, and a team of accounting professionals.
  
• Provide educational materials and host webinars for clients as required.
  
• Exhibit strong technical tax skills and the ability to build solid client relationships.
  

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years (or more) of experience in public accounting with a focus on managing multiple projects.
  
• CPA certification is highly preferred or required, with a broad knowledge of tax.
  
• Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and QuickBooks software.
  
• Ability to work well within a team, with skills in leadership and staff development.
  
• Strong communication skills, with the capability to solve problems and analyze information effectively. - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
