    Confidential – Tax Senior / Tax Manager

    Position Summary
    The firm is seeking a full-time Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join its Finance team. This hybrid role (Mon–Thu in-office, Fri remote) reports to the Tax Director and is responsible for partnership taxation, investor reporting, compliance, and tax-related accounting functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee and review federal and state partnership tax returns (Form 1065), including Schedule K-1s.

    • Manage capital account maintenance, partner allocations, and tax basis tracking.

    • Coordinate with external tax advisors on compliance and tax planning.

    • Calculate/manage quarterly estimated payments, state PTE taxes, composite returns, and withholding obligations.

    • Monitor partnership tax law changes and assess impact.

    • Respond to investor and partner tax inquiries.

    • Verify carried interest waterfalls and related allocations.

    • Lead general ledger functions for tax/holding entities, ensuring compliance with GAAP or tax-basis standards.

    • Prepare/analyze financial statements; support audits and tax filings.

    • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

    • Present annual process improvement results to leadership.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    • 5+ years of progressive accounting/tax experience, with emphasis on partnership taxation.

    • Advanced understanding of Subchapter K, capital accounts, and tax basis accounting.

    • Strong Excel skills; experience with financial/tax reporting tools.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

    • U.S. work authorization required.

    • CPA designation or active pursuit preferred.
