Tax Accountant | St. Louis, MO
We're currently partnered with a well-established CPA firm in the St. Louis area that is looking to add a Tax Accountant to their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their public accounting career who is looking to expand their technical skills, gain exposure to a diverse client base, and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing federal tax returns for corporations (C & S), partnerships, and individuals
Identifying book-to-tax differences and preparing adjusting journal entries
Supporting tax planning and compliance engagements
Conducting tax research using online tools
Assisting with IRS and tax authority correspondence on routine matters
Collaborating with team members across various client engagements
What they're looking for:
1–3 years of public accounting tax experience (preferred)
CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA license
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with tax software (CCH, ProSystem fx, etc.) is a plus
