Description

Established CPA firm with two locations - Minelola and Lake Ronkonkoma, NY seeking a Tax Accountant with experience in Public Accounting, CPA FIRM

Job Responsibilities

Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships

Assist in tax planning, tax research and compliance

Review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy

Communicate with clients regarding tax related questins and information requests

Maintain accurate tax records and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations

Assist with other accounting duties as needed

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Experience in public accounting or a CPA firm

Proficiency in tax preparation software 

Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills

CPA licence a plus or progress toward CPA certification
