Key Responsibilities (Tax Accountant):

• 
  
• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including deferred tax assets and liabilities
• 
  
• Analyze book-to-tax differences and prepare supporting schedules, journal entries, reconciliations, and tax-related financial statement disclosures
• 
  
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on federal and state income tax returns, estimated payments, and other compliance requirements
• 
  
• Gather and validate financial information needed for tax filings and review completed returns for accuracy
• 
  
• Monitor business activity for state tax nexus and manage registrations and filing requirements as operations expand
• 
  
• Support compliance with state income, franchise, gross receipts, and other applicable taxes
• 
  
• Review sales and use tax activity across multiple operating entities and identify potential compliance risks
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications (Tax Accountant):

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 
  
• 3–7 years of tax experience within corporate accounting, public accounting, or a related environment
• 
  
• Hands-on experience with ASC 740, tax provisions, and deferred tax accounting
• 
  
• Strong understanding of federal and multi-state tax compliance
•
