Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates
Assist clients with tax planning strategies and compliance matters
Research and analyze tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and firm leadership
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through responsive service and trusted advice
Assist with tax projections, estimated tax calculations, and year-end planning
Support IRS and state tax notice resolution efforts
Collaborate with team members on complex tax engagements and special projects
Stay current on changing tax laws and regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA license a plus but not required
2+ years of public accounting tax experience preferred
Experience preparing individual and business tax returns
Knowledge of trust and estate taxation is a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and client service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines during busy season
