Tax Accountant

We are hiring a tax-focused accounting professional with public accounting experience to join a growing team serving privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. This role is best suited for someone whose background is primarily in tax and who enjoys working on a variety of business and individual tax engagements.

The position offers a collaborative work environment, meaningful client interaction, and opportunities to expand your technical knowledge while working alongside experienced professionals. Hybrid flexibility is available for candidates who can occasionally collaborate in person.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review business tax returns
• Prepare complex individual returns for business owners and executives
• Perform tax research and planning
• Communicate with clients throughout engagements
• Ensure compliance with changing tax laws
• Collaborate with partners on tax strategies
• Assist with consulting and special tax projects

Requirements

• Approximately 3–5 years of public accounting experience
• Strong emphasis on tax preparation and tax compliance
• Experience with business entity returns and complex individual returns
• CPA preferred but not required
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to occasionally work from the Allentown office
