One of our Clients in Suitland, MD needs a Task Manager for a proposal position.
Job Title: Task Manager
Location: Suitland, MD
Duties:
• Provides full-service task management duties to manage and oversee assigned contractors.
• Serves as a primary point of contact on assigned Task Orders between contractor staff and BLS Task Monitors.
• Performs contractor reviews and coordinates daily and long-range task requirements with BLS.
• Supports identification and selection of contractor staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Two (2) years of experience putting processes in place to assist in managing tasks
• or projects.
• Two (2) years of experience providing performance appraisal and employee
• feedback support.
• Two (2) years of experience assessing employee training needs and assisting
• employees in skill building.
• Two (2) years of experience recruiting, identifying, interviewing, selecting
• technical staff, and coordinating staffing for task execution.
• Three (3) years of experience in client relations, working closely with the client to
• resolve contract, development, and personnel issues.
• Three (3) years of experience primarily as a technical team leader of end-user and
• workstation support staff. The staff shall have been composed of at least five (5)
• support staff engaged in all aspects of workstation support, including security
• administration. Experience shall have included responsibility for:
· Planning work, controlling projects, and reporting progress
· Preparing technical specifications for deliverables
· Guiding and monitoring the work of staff developing deliverables
· Developing work standards and evaluating performance
· Reviewing team products to assure quality before delivery
• Three (3) years of experience identifying, determining the feasibility of, and
• analyzing the costs and benefits of alternatives for new hardware, software, and
• system configuration approaches. This experience must include:
· Identification of alternatives
· Feasibility and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives
· Development of final recommendations for users and management
• Four (4) years of experience supporting complex network operations, including all
• of the following:
· Assisting end-users in solving problems
· Installing and testing workstation operating systems and software
· Performing network troubleshooting and testing support
· Maintaining and optimizing Help Desk-related SOPs
· Implementing workstation security protocols
