Job Summary:
The Tap Grinding Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through the inspection, preparation, and maintenance of tooling and supplies. This role ensures tooling, equipment, and materials are available in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting a safe, efficient production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming tooling and manufacturing supplies
- Prepare and maintain tooling for operating departments
- Operate tap grinding and related equipment
- Maintain accurate production and tooling records
- Ensure timely availability of tools, equipment, and materials
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional
- Support manufacturing operations as needed
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Manufacturing or grinding experience preferred
- Ability to use measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain accurate paperwork and records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
