Tanker Transportation Manager

Join our team at a family-owned, local business that has been serving the area for over 95 years!  We are looking for a Tanker Transportation Manager.  This position requires an active "X" endorsement on your class A commercial drivers license. You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a team of Class A CDL tanker drivers. You will be responsible for the daily dispatch plan being communicated on a timely basis.  You will monitor the efficiencies of daily routes, demonstrate leadership, provide guidance and direction to complete the dispatched plan.  You will communicate the daily driver line up and will prepare contingency plans and communicate those plans as needed. 

The Tanker Transportation Manager should be decisive and well-organized and ensure compliance with federal motor carriers safety regulations when delivering petroleum products to our customer base.  You will ensure adherence to all applicable state and federal highway safety laws and ensure the safe loading and unloading of the fuel tank trailer in compliance with terminal and company policies.
