Our Client, a Consumer Goods company, is looking for a Talent Sourcer for their Chicago, IL/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- The Talent Sourcer will support Client's Talent Acquisition team by proactively identifying, engaging, and pre-qualifying candidates for hard-to-fill and ageing requisitions.
- This role partners closely with recruiters to build strong candidate pipelines and accelerate time-to-fill across priority roles.
- The Sourcer focuses on front-end talent identification and engagement, allowing recruiters to concentrate on stakeholder management, interviews, and offers.
- Proactively source passive and active candidates using LinkedIn, internal talent pools, referrals, market mapping, and professional networks.
- Execute sourcing strategies aligned to recruiter-led Recruitment Strategy Meetings (RSMs) and ageing requisitions.
- Conduct initial outreach with phone as the primary first-touch method, followed by email as needed, using Client's Employee Value Proposition.
Pre-Qualification & Pipeline Management:
- Pre-screen candidates to assess skills, experience, career goals, and interest level prior to recruiter handoff.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within Client recruiting systems and talent communities.
- Build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs, including referral generation.
Recruiter Partnership:
- Partner closely with recruiters to prioritize ageing requisitions.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing activity, candidate flow, and market insights.
- Support recruiters during periods of high requisition volume.
Process & Compliance:
- Follow Client recruiting processes, data privacy standards, and sourcing best practices.
- Ensure accurate source tracking and documentation.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in talent sourcing or recruiting.
- Strong experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn and Boolean search techniques.
- Excellent candidate engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in large, global organizations or RPO environments.
- Familiarity with Workday or similar ATS platforms.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or corporate roles.
