Position Type: 6 month contract with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need

Compensation: $45-$51.40/HR

We are seeking a driven and resourceful Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter to join our team. In this role, you will manage full-cycle recruiting for a mix of high-volume production hiring and select professional, exempt-level roles. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates, and is passionate about delivering a seamless recruiting experience.

Schedule:
Hybrid schedule — candidates will need to be in the Wilmington office 2–3 days per week, with flexibility. Potential for full-time conversion based on business needs and individual performance.

Responsibilities

Conduct effective intake sessions with hiring managers
Partner with managers to define hiring needs and establish expectations
Develop and execute engaging job postings
Identify and implement sourcing strategies to build a diverse candidate pipeline
Provide regular recruitment updates to hiring managers and HR business partners
Create pre-screening questions and review resumes
Build strong relationships with hiring managers and advise on recruiting best practices
Ensure compliance with employment laws and legal requirements
Adapt quickly and innovate within a fast-paced, agile environment
Maintain a positive, proactive, and results-oriented approach
Exercise independent judgment and discretion in recruitment activities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience recruiting production-level roles with exposure to exempt professional hiring
Proven ability to manage a high-volume requisition load, including 50+ open positions simultaneously
Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Experience providing consultative recruiting support and challenging assumptions constructively
Experience with social sourcing, AI tools in recruiting, and employer branding initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field
Experience with Workday Recruit ATS and Phenom CRM
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
