Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Office Status: Hybrid NYC or Morristown, NJ;4 days/week onsite, with potential flexibility to 3 days after establishing performance

Pay Rate: $45

Contract Length: Temporary

ABOUT THE ROLE

A financial services organization is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to partner closely with business leaders and manage recruiting activity across multiple areas of the organization. This is a relationship-driven recruiting role requiring someone who can understand business needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and confidently advise hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of recruiting or sales-related experience, with corporate recruiting experience strongly preferred. Experience recruiting within banking or financial services is highly valued, particularly exposure to Commercial Banking, Credit, or Treasury.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Execute recruiting plans designed to attract qualified candidates across multiple business areas.
  • Source candidates through job boards, databases, networking, referrals, social media, direct sourcing, university recruiting, and other channels.
  • Identify and engage both active and passive candidates to build strong talent pipelines.
  • Review resumes and assess candidates against position requirements.
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews and provide informed recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruiting process and for future opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with community organizations, recruiting partners, and other external resources to expand diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Manage recruiting activity and maintain accurate candidate and process information within the ATS.
  • Prepare and present offers to selected candidates and help facilitate the offer process.
  • Coordinate required background checks and ensure candidates complete pre-employment requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted recruiting partner to business stakeholders while managing multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of cumulative recruiting or sales-related experience.
  • Corporate recruiting experience required;agency-only recruiting backgrounds are not preferred.
  • Recruiting experience within banking or financial services strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple business functions or business units.
  • Exposure to Commercial Banking, Credit, or Treasury is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proven sourcing experience using multiple recruiting channels and techniques.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent searches in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic-to-intermediate PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business or a related discipline preferred.
