SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist II that will serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by acquiring the right talent to support business objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as the Talent Acquisition Relationship Manager for assigned business groups

Develop and update staffing priorities for each group

Conduct weekly customer relationship meetings and update staffing reports

Source and staff open positions

Recruit diverse candidates to achieve workforce goals

Directly recruit candidates for employment consideration

Work closely with hiring managers to develop recruitment and selection plans

Negotiate and manage external recruiting resources (researchers, agencies, internet service companies, etc.)

Collaborate with hiring managers to establish employment offers

Develop approaches to identify and source needed talent (direct recruiting, Open House gatherings, Job Fairs, Internet Recruiting)

Refer team members to appropriate contact points for headquarters talent management services (benefit services, complaint/issue resolution, drug and alcohol-free program)

Build and maintain relationships with team members across the organization at all levels

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience

Minimum four years of recruiting/HR experience or a combination of higher education and experience

Experience recruiting construction positions preferred

Ability to make recommendations on hiring decisions to upper management

Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Proficiency in using PC and widely used software packages (e.g., Excel, MS Word, HRIS/database)

Strong teamwork orientation

Positive attitude and professional customer service skills

Active listening skills and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback

**The base pay range for this role is $79,000 MIN - $118,600 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
