The ideal candidate is a proactive talent advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and leverages creative sourcing strategies to connect with high-quality talent across technical and operational functions.
Here you will play a key role in supporting our rapidly scaling workforce, inclusive of Maintenance Technicians, Field Technicians, and a variety of additional positions based on evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain robust pipelines of qualified candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach to passive talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define candidate profiles, and provide guidance throughout the recruitment process.
- Evaluate candidates and present hiring recommendations based on skills, experience, cultural alignment, and business requirements.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer support, and onboarding coordination.
- Create and manage compelling job postings across multiple recruitment channels, including the corporate careers site and external job boards.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Track recruiting metrics and provide insights to support continuous process improvement and hiring effectiveness.
- Support employment branding initiatives that position Quarterhill as an employer of choice.
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and equal employment opportunity requirements.
- Build positive relationships with candidates, employees, and external talent communities to strengthen Quarterhill's talent network.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of talent acquisition or full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Strong experience recruiting for technical, operational, and/or corporate roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
- Working knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and EEO compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in sourcing, assessing, and attracting top talent through networking, relationship-building, and proactive recruiting strategies.
- Experience supporting a high-growth, fast-paced business environment is preferred.
