This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop recruiting strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through onboarding. This role is a 6-month contract role with potential to hire after contract is over; current need is covering employee leaveResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition:Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of positions across the organizationPartner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, hiring strategies, and ideal candidate profilesPost positions across job boards, social media, and other recruiting platformsSource passive candidates through networking, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals and other sourcing methodsScreen resumes and conduct initial phone/video interviewsCoordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teamsFacilitate interview debriefs and provide hiring recommendationsCreate and extend employment offersNegotiate compensation within approved guidelinesManage candidate communications throughout the hiring process to ensure exceptional experienceRecruiting StrategyBuild and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needsDevelop sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidatesTrack recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, pipeline health, and offer acceptance ratesRecommend improvements to recruiting processes and candidate experienceHiring Manager PartnershipServe as trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the recruitment processProvide guidance on interviewing best practices and hiring decisionsEnsure consistency and compliance throughout the recruitment processSchedule and facilitate orientation and onboarding meetingsRecruitment OperationsMaintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and improvement of processes withinEnsure compliance with employment laws and company hiring policiesPrepare offer letters and support pre-employment processesAssist with onboarding coordinationWork with outside recruiters as neededWhat to Expect in first 30 daysComplete onboarding of our culture, values and organizational structureIntroduction to hiring managers across departments to understand their teams and hiring needsLearning of our ATS, recruiting tools, interview process and hiring workflowsReview current open positions and begin supporting active recruitment effortsShadow interviews and recruiting conversations to understand our hiring approachBegin conducting candidate phone screens and coordinating interviewsPost and manage job openings across recruiting platformsIdentify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and candidate experienceQualifications (Required)Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)2-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experienceExperience recruiting for multiple departments and job levelsStrong interviewing and candidate assessment skillsExperience using an ATSExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple openings simultaneously while meeting deadlinesStrong organizational and time management abilitiesProfessionalism and discretion when handling confidential informationAbility to influence and collaborate with leaders across the organizationCommitment to delivering an exceptional candidate experienceQualifications (Preferred)Recruiting experience within a marketing, advertising, digital or creative agencyExperience recruiting remote employeesKnowledge of employment lawsExperience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platformsBlue Wheel operates and hires in the following states: CO, CT, FL, ID, IL, KS, MI, MN, NJ, NY, OR, PA, TN, TX, and WA
