Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic recruiting plans to ensure *** airport roles are staffed for operational readiness.
  • Partner with multiple hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce requirements, hiring priorities, and staffing gaps.
  • Conduct thorough recruitment intake sessions to understand position requirements and ensure job descriptions accurately reflect the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, selection, offer management, and candidate follow-up.
  • Proactively source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruiting channels.
  • Support hiring managers with competency-based and behavioral interviewing, providing guidance on effective and legally compliant interviewing practices.
  • Facilitate the candidate selection process and influence hiring decisions to achieve agreed-upon staffing timelines and service-level expectations.
  • Maintain a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Serve as a trusted recruiting resource for business leaders, hiring managers, TA leadership, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates on applicant activity, requisition status, hiring progress, and recruitment metrics.
  • Track and report Talent Acquisition KPIs, SLAs, recruiting activity, trends, and potential issues, providing recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and requisition information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with business leaders, hiring managers, Talent Acquisition teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with third-party recruiting/RPO vendors to provide guidance and clarification related to hiring processes, union requirements, pay scales, requisition status, and required approvals.
  • Participate in recurring business calls with leaders to review high-volume hiring strategies, staffing progress, recruiting challenges, and upcoming needs.
  • Partner closely with Legal, Labor Relations, and other stakeholders to ensure recruiting activities align with applicable policies, employment laws, labor agreements, and business requirements.
  • Travel to domestic airport locations multiple times per month to support high-volume hiring events, including occasional weekend events and on-the-spot hiring activities.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent full-cycle recruiting experience.
  • Experience managing multiple requisitions and hiring managers simultaneously.
  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other talent acquisition tools.
  • Experience tracking and working with recruiting metrics, KPIs, and SLAs.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting, preferably in an operational environment.
  • Experience recruiting within a unionized workforce/environment.
  • Experience conducting competency-based and behavioral interviews.
  • Experience analyzing and reporting Talent Acquisition performance metrics.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors or another large enterprise ATS such as Taleo, iCIMS, or similar systems.
  • Experience working with RPO or third-party recruiting partners.
  • Experience planning and conducting high-volume hiring events.
  • Previous airline, airport, transportation, hospitality, or other operations-focused recruiting experience.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, including forecasting staffing needs across locations, skills, and workforce segments.
