We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager with corporate (in-house) recruiting experience to lead and scale our recruiting function during an exciting period of growth. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies that drive the expansion of our engineering and consulting teams. You will oversee full-cycle recruitment for critical roles, build scalable sourcing strategies and proactive talent pipelines, and strengthen internal recruiting processes to attract top technical talent.
This position also includes supervising team members and playing a key role in developing internal recruiting capabilities that reduce reliance on external search firms. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic recruiting leader who enjoys building systems, mentoring team members, and helping the firm attract engineers and technical experts who support utility and consulting projects nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment for engineering, consulting, and technical roles, from intake through offer and hire
Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that support the firm’s continued growth and expansion
Build proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles using direct sourcing, networking, and industry outreach
Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define hiring needs, guide structured interview processes, and support effective hiring decisions
Oversee recruiting operations, including the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), workflows, and hiring metrics
Track and report key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline health, and source effectiveness to drive data-informed decisions
Supervise and mentor recruiter(s) while helping scale the talent acquisition function
Ensure recruiting processes comply with AAP/OFCCP/EEO requirements and maintain accurate documentation
Bachelor’s degree Business Administration or a related field.
8+ years of recruiting experience, including demonstrated experience within a corporate (in-house) talent acquisition function
Proven success managing full-cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, or consulting roles in a corporate environment
Experience developing proactive sourcing strategies and engaging passive candidates
Strong ability to partner with hiring managers and business leaders to drive hiring decisions
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter
Knowledge of AAP/OFCCP/EEO recruiting compliance and federal contractor hiring practices preferred
Prior experience in an engineering, consulting, technical, or professional services environment strongly preferred
