The Talent Acquisition Consultant II will partner with County departments to develop and implement strategies for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent. With a focus on innovation, relationship-building, and workforce planning, this role provides the opportunity to directly shape the employee experience and strengthen the County's ability to serve the community. Responsibilities Recruitment Strategy & Support Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruitment strategies, and guide them through the hiring process. Coordinate full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, from job postings and advertising to candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection. Ensure job postings are clear, accurate, and appeal to a broad and diverse audience. Talent Sourcing & Branding Use innovative sourcing methods to identify and attract qualified candidates. Promote Alamance County Government as an employer of choice through outreach, career fairs, and branding initiatives. Build and maintain pipelines of candidates for hard-to-fill positions. Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience Guide managers on best practices in interviewing, selection, and hiring. Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Provide regular communication and updates to hiring managers and applicants. Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure recruitment processes comply with federal, state, and local employment regulations as well as County policies. Monitor workforce and labor market trends, recommending improvements to strengthen hiring outcomes. Maintain accurate applicant tracking and recruitment data for reporting and analysis. Collaboration & Special Projects Serve as the NEOGOV subject matter expert and develop training to encourage optimal utilization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human resources, business/public administration, or a related field. Three (3-5) years of professional experience in recruitment/talent acquisition-public sector experience preferred. Equivalent combination of education and related experience will be considered. Skills & Abilities Knowledge of recruitment best practices, workforce planning, and talent management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships. Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Demonstrated ability to source candidates using innovative and diverse strategies, build and maintain candidate pipelines, and recommend improvements based on market trends. The plan, if elected, would be effective the first of the month following 30 days of FT employment. Vision Insurance - A voluntary vision program (Superior Vision) is available to FT employees. The current PPO style plan allows employees to seek treatment and hardware from any vision care provider of their choice.
