Beyer Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Tag & Title Administrator to oversee all aspects of vehicle registration and title processing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team at a fast-paced and growing dealership group.

Job Summary:
The Tag & Title Administrator is responsible for managing the preparation and processing of all motor vehicle paperwork to ensure timely and accurate title and registration of sold vehicles. This position plays a key role in maintaining legal compliance and supporting the sales and finance departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily operations of the tag and title department

  • Accurately prepare and process DMV paperwork for new and used vehicles

  • Ensure all documents comply with local, state, and federal regulations

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DMV rules and procedures

  • Serve as a point of contact for DMV & lender audits and inquiries

  • Track and resolve title issues, lien releases, and missing documentation

  • Coordinate with sales, finance, and service departments to streamline operations

  • Train and supervise tag/title clerks as needed

  • Maintain detailed records for all transactions and monitor document filing systems

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a tag/title role, preferably in a dealership setting, is preferred

  • In-depth knowledge of DMV regulations and vehicle titling procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient in DMS software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plus
