Tactical Coordinator for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work location: Hybrid in Columbia, SC
Duration: 11 months
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30AM-5:00PM; Onsite Tues-Thurs
Terms: W2 contract
Work authorization: US Citizen; candidates must be eligible to earn a low-level (Public Trust) US security clearance.
Position summary:- As a Tactical Coordinator, you'll drive effective management of technical workflows across ITSM domains such as problem, change, release, knowledge management, incident management, analytics, and trending.
- This role is ideal for professionals passionate about process optimization, cross-team coordination, and delivering results through data-driven decision-making and collaboration.
About the team:- The ITSM - Service Management team works closely with incident management.
- Two people on each team focus on Problems, Change, Knowledge and Reporting
Required technologies: - ServiceNow for ITSM
- Copilot
- M365 (Office, Excel, PP, Word, Teams)
- ITIL Foundations
Responsibilities:- Responsible for tactical management activities of technical workflow throughout the department (i.e. infrastructure deployments, decommissions, audits, maintenance, break/fix, etc.) at a cross-functional level.
- Coordinates technical teams to ensure an efficient, logical flow of all inter-related work.
- Provides key department-wide reporting statistics, and explanation to management regarding historical tactical trends along with data-based recommendations for tactical adjustments required to keep the workflow efficient at the team level.
- This specific position will focus on Change Management to start, which includes approving changes, facilitating change meetings, and working towards stronger processes.

- Relationship builder comfortable working across teams and engaging diverse customers and clients.
- Strong presentation skills for communicating technical and non-technical information to various audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently formulate and present effective solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to independently bring resources together to develop strategies and actionable plans
Required work experience:- 5 years of job-related experience in a similarly complex technical organization.
Required education/equivalencies:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management or other job-related degree
- OR, 4 years of job-related work experience
- OR, 2 years of job-related experience plus an associate’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other job related degree.
