We are seeking a skilled IT Tableau Cloud Administrator to own and support our enterprise Tableau Cloud environment. This role will be responsible for tenant-level administration, platform governance, user access management, Tableau Bridge operations, data connectivity, and ongoing support of Tableau's integration with Azure Databricks.
The ideal candidate combines Tableau administration expertise with strong data platform knowledge and can partner with business stakeholders, analytics teams, and data engineers to ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable analytics platform.

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Tableau Cloud Administration
Administer and maintain the enterprise Tableau Cloud tenant.
Manage sites, projects, workbooks, data sources, permissions, groups, and site roles.
Configure and support SSO, MFA, SCIM, Active Directory/Entra ID integrations, and user provisioning.
Establish and enforce governance standards, security policies, and content lifecycle management processes.
Monitor tenant health, usage, licensing, capacity, and adoption metrics.
Manage content certifications, ownership transfers, and archival processes.
2. Tableau Bridge Administration
Deploy, configure, and maintain Tableau Bridge clients and Bridge pools.
Monitor Bridge availability, connectivity, and performance.
Troubleshoot Bridge failures, refresh issues, authentication problems, and network connectivity concerns.
Coordinate with infrastructure and networking teams to ensure reliable and secure connectivity between Tableau Cloud and internal data sources.
Maintain Bridge service mode configurations, upgrades, and patching.
3. Databricks Connectivity & Data Integration
Manage Tableau connectivity to Azure Databricks environments.
Configure and support live and extract connections using Databricks SQL Warehouses.
Troubleshoot authentication, OAuth, service principals, ODBC/JDBC connectivity, and permission-related issues.
Partner with data engineering teams to optimize data models, query performance, and refresh reliability.
Support migration and onboarding of new data products into Databricks for Tableau consumption.
4. Platform Operations & Support
Manage extract refresh schedules and monitor refresh failures.
Optimize dashboard and datasource performance.
Coordinate Tableau Cloud upgrades, testing, and release validation activities.
Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and platform outages.
Develop operational runbooks, support documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Provide Tier 2/3 support for Tableau users, developers, and business stakeholders.
5. Security & Governance
Administer role-based access controls and row-level security.
Ensure compliance with corporate security and data governance standards.
Conduct periodic access reviews and permission audits.
Maintain governance standards for certified data sources and reporting assets.
6. Enablement & Best Practices
Advise developers and analysts on Tableau best practices.
Promote standards for workbook design, extracts, scheduling, and performance optimization.
Deliver training, office hours, and user support sessions.
Support adoption of Tableau Cloud features, including Tableau Pulse and AI-enabled capabilities where applicable.
