Job Title: Tableau Administrator/Developer
Client Industry: Leading Government Organization
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Duration: 7 Months (High potential for extension)
Employment Type: Contract
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 days per week)

Key Responsibilities
Interface with key business stakeholders to provide solutions by leveraging Business Intelligence, data, and technical skills.
Configure, maintain, and support the Tableau server product while providing operational support for the platform (consuming approximately 25% of the role).
Establish a centralized "center of excellence" for Tableau, including the creation and management of an internal user group (consuming approximately 50% of the role).
Connect with key business stakeholders seeking to use the tool and conduct staff training on Tableau.
Consult on the development of content (consuming approximately 25% of the role).
Required Skills
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence software development and maintenance.
At least 2 years of dedicated Tableau experience.
1 to 3 years of relevant Tableau Server administration experience within an enterprise environment.
Expert knowledge of Tableau development, practices, techniques, and standards (5 years preferred).
Experience with Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, dashboard development, and report design concepts.
Familiarity with application-specific processes related to data management, SQL, and SAAS.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with strong problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience with the installation, configuration, and support of Tableau Server and associated Tableau client products.
Expertise in dashboard and report development using the Tableau BI Product Suite as both an administrator and developer.
Strong ability to interface and interact directly and effectively with key internal customers and business representatives.
