The AV systems technician will use a documented audio-visual system design to integrate a turn-key, fully functional AV system. This includes the physical installation of equipment, cable pulls, terminations, troubleshooting, equipment configuration and quality assurance activities. The systems technician leads a crew of student technicians, providing technical training and leadership to inexperienced workers. The technician also performs on-call problem resolution.

Different levels of pay are assigned by the hiring department depending on experience/education/skills and business needs.
Level 50: 1 year of related experience. ($25.00-$32.50)
Level 51: 2-3 years of experience or equivalent combination of related training/education & experience. ($28.25-$36.25)
Level 52: 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of related training/education & experience. ($31.25-$40.50)

Pay Grade: 50-52
Typical Starting Pay: $25.00-$40.50/hr ($52,500-$84,500)
The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
