You will also perform summative and formative evaluation and design verification tests.

    How You'll Create Impact

    • Independently design complex systems, including system architectural design, relevant design documentation, test planning, and execution
    • Translate customer and system requirements into subsystem and component-level requirements
    • Be able to speak directly with Surgeons and work within a cadaver lab environment
    • Support and execute segments of complex product development to advance projects through the design /development/V&V/launch process
    • Lead Hazards Analysis to create the project's FMEA
    • Plan and execute verification protocols
    • Generate and review necessary documents with project teams (requirements, design, architecture, bugs, tests)
    • Demonstrate advanced understanding of customer needs and design inputs.•Demonstrate proficiency with the product's intended use and clinical procedures.
    • Identify and support the creation of procedures, policies, processes, systems, and technology
    • Work cooperatively with Project Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Clinical, and Marketing to ensure project success as a leader on the team
    • Demonstrate ownership and integrity of work.

    What Makes You Stand Out

    • Strong writing skills for protocols and reporting
    • Past Development exposure, with basic level knowledge of how to read code
    • SolidWorks experience
    • Work with Medical Device Robotics
    • Exposure to Cadaver labs and gathering design feedback from a Surgeon
    • Experience in systems analysis using MBSE software
    • Experience in Hazards Analysis and FMEA generation
    • Experience using Application Lifecycle Management /Traceability tools
    • Experience with regulatory and compliance standards
    • Familiarity with a variety of sensor, actuator, motor, and controller technologies

    Your Background

    • Preferred Qualification: Ability to create 3D models and 3D animations
    • Preferred Qualification: Work experience in a medical device company with a focus on robotics
    • Preferred Qualification: Masters or PhD degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, or Computer Science)
    • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor''s Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate''s Degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 years of relevant experience
