JOB SUMMARYHealthRIGHT 360, a nonprofit organization and a family of programs, is committed to providing accessible and comprehensive healthcare services to vulnerable populations. Our mission is to tackle systemic barriers to healthcare and promote health equity for all. We offer a wide range of services, including mental health care, residential and outpatient substance use treatment, and primary health services. Additionally, we provide transitional support for individuals re-entering the community after involvement in the criminal justice system. By integrating physical and behavioral health, we empower individuals to overcome challenges by addressing social determinants of health, fostering resilience, and facilitating recovery.The Prototypes Pre-Filing Diversion Program, a program of HealthRIGHT 360, is part of a Los Angeles County-wide initiative, seeks to reimagine the justice system by diverting individuals arrested for misdemeanors and non-serious, non-violent felonies from criminal charges to community-based support services. The Pre-Filing Diversion Program (PFDP) formally called ATI addresses key factors leading to incarceration, including homelessness, mental health, addiction, and lack of employment opportunities. Through collaboration with law enforcement and district attorneys, PFDP is working to build a sustainable network of providers that enhances the community's ability to support those in need.The Systems Navigator plays a critical role in supporting individuals detained by law enforcement, conducting screenings and assessments to determine eligibility for diversion services. This in-person role connects clients to housing, healthcare, substance use treatment, and other social services through our network of partner agencies, providing trauma-informed, culturally competent guidance and advocacy. By offering motivation, support, and practical resources, the Systems Navigator empowers clients to build stability, access community-based services, and reduce the risk of incarceration. This position is co-located at the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Metropolitan Detention Center. This role requires reliable transportation.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESClient Engagement & Support
The candidate must complete a 30‑day training period starting on their hire date.
The first two weeks of training will take place at the El Monte Office located at 11227 Valley Blvd, Suite 100, El Monte, CA 91732.
The final two weeks of training will take place at the Metropolitan Detention Center located at 180 N Los Angeles Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
The training schedule will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After training, the regular shift will be 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
