ERP and Manufacturing Systems Manager

Our client is looking for an ERP and Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead Plex ERP and manufacturing systems across multiple facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands plant operations and can balance production support with system improvements and new initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of ERP Business Analysts and Application Specialists.

• Own the support, configuration, security, and ongoing improvement of the Plex ERP environment.

• Partner with plant and functional leaders to prioritize projects, resolve issues, and establish consistent processes across facilities.

• Lead ERP and manufacturing systems implementations, integrations, testing, training, cutovers, and stabilization.

• Manage critical production issues, change control, vendors, budgets, and business continuity planning.

• Guide the integration of shop-floor equipment and production data with enterprise systems and analytics platforms.

• Work with operations and engineering on digital manufacturing initiatives, including machine data, digital twins, and practical AI use cases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting ERP and manufacturing systems in a multi-plant environment.

• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams across multiple locations.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including production, quality, inventory, warehousing, supply chain, and shipping.

• Experience with ERP implementations, integrations, production support, and change management.

• Experience connecting shop-floor equipment or industrial data sources with enterprise systems.

• Plex ERP experience strongly preferred.

• Exposure to digital twins, machine learning, or AI applications in manufacturing.

• Ability to travel approximately 30%, and support critical issues after hours when needed.
