Job Description
Reporting to the Director of Continuing and Professional Education, the Systems Manager leads the administration, integration, and strategic use of systems supporting enrollment, learning delivery, client engagement, and digital credentialing for Virginia Tech's CPE programs. Core responsibilities include oversight of the enrollment system, CRM platform, form processing tools, learning management system (Canvas), digital credentialing platform, and other integrated systems.
The Systems Manager ensures these systems operate efficiently, produce reliable and accurate reports, and support data-informed decision-making. Serving as a liaison between technical and functional stakeholders, the role collaborates closely with program managers, finance, registration staff, and external partners to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
Additional responsibilities include managing the department's SharePoint environment for collaborative document management and overseeing DocuSign for digital signature and workflow processes. The position also utilizes Google Analytics to evaluate user engagement and the performance of public-facing systems and forms.
